Personal Information protection and Electronics Document Act
Effective January 1,2004 new privacy laws governing credit unions and the collection ,use and protection of information supplied by its member were fully implemented.
This act is intended to speciffically designed to address how we collect information, why we collect information, the use of that information and how our procedures are there to protect the same.
We are committed to protect the members information and will only require information specific to the services your using . Our staff have been instructed only to gather information that would be useful in the delivery of the service you are requesting. Any information gathered shall not be shared with any other party without the member consent.

Bayshore Credit Union is committed to protecting the personal informaton of the credit union members . In order to protect all the information collected ,used or disclosed by the the credit union we have adopted the Credit Union Code for the Protection of Personal Information Bayshore Credit Union is committed to ensuring that your personal information remains confidential , secure and accurate.
Bayshore Credit Union takes its commitment to safeguard your information seriously. Our privacy officer is to ensure specific safeguards are in place and implement training for staff is in order. The staff shall be given specific instructions on the collection and use of information. Why its collected and how it is best safeguarded.
Collection of information can only be attained with your permission. We will not collect ,use or disclose your personal except where permitted by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time
We shall also ensure any information requested shall be properly destroyed when it is no longer necessary for us to have.
It is in your best interest to keep any personal information we hold about you accurate,complete and up to date. If you believe that your information is inaccurate it will be easy for you to acccess verify and update.

Any information collected shall be done so to meet legal requirements, to assess potential suitablitiy for products and services. To administer products you have chosen that require specific information. To disclose to third parties information specifically required to atttain there services . None of this information shall be disclosed without your consent. Safeguarding your information
We shall take steps to protect your personal information against theft , misuse and unathorized modification. Guidelines shall be followed as in the past related to the retention and destruction of your information. Bayshore Credit Union will not use your information for marketing their or others products and services without your expressed consent.
